Recent renovation really paid off at this hotel. 🌟 I spent just one night here but the staff was so friendly and went above and beyond. My room faced a construction site but surprisingly it was peaceful and I could relax easily.

The staff are very amiable and the location is best possible and convenient in South Florida. And it's nestled in a renovated building close enough to certain areas, and a good fish restaurant in the pier.
-
John
I had good sized, brand-new room complete with a balcony, the aircon or heating plus the shower.

Daniel
This venue has a fantastic and beautiful location, just a short walk from both a construction zone and a beach escape.

It's a nice hotel. It has a comfortable swimming pool and an excellent beach. The view from the room overlooking the sea is very nice. The zone is very good since these very near the 856. You are a few minutes from Aventura Mall and have a Walmart Supercenter which is open 24 hours. You also have a shopping center 1 block from the hotel with several options to eat and several places in case you need to buy something (CVS pharmacy, Publix and others)
They charge you for the beach service but you don't count with umbrellas, that makes it a little complicated in case of a very hot weather since there is no repair of the sun. You only get 2 towels per room, no matter how many guests you have and 2 lounge chairs only. The palapas on the beach are rented separately per day and cost U$S 15, the same goes for the palapas in the pool . A critical issue is the elevator. Apparently it has been out of service for a long time and is not working, so if you come with a lot of luggage it requires a significant extra effort to get to the rooms. The cleaning is not bad but it can be improved, there are sectors that would be good to spend more time.

Very good location, nice and quiet beach. A genius concierge who cared for our packages that we sent to the hotel. Super nice. Very nice pool area and sea entrance. The lady at the beach bar is a love. Very nice view of the upper room.
basic breakfast ends up making you tired on the third day. Every day you have to ask for a paper at the reception that assures you have breakfast included to redeem it at the breakfast stand, they reluctantly give it to you, they check too every day you have paid for breakfast. Room without fridge, you can't even have cold water in the room. If I had gone with my kids, it would be a complication. reception staff leaves a lot to be desired. Too bad the restaurant will only be open a few days, you have to ask first. To park the car you have to do it in front of the hotel. There is only one elevator and corridor to the rooms is very long.

The hotel is quite comfortable by my standards. The staff is friendly and delicate. We're clear. There's no tension. At the exit to the hotel yard we have a well-groomed green tropical courtyard and an ocean clean beach. But you have to be careful not to get into the rare burning jellyfish on the beach. You can take sun loungers and towels - the pleasure lasts for 5 dollars. Located in a part of transport conveniently, you can easily get to the airports and seaports - best by taxi or arrange with the concierge for assistance. The duration of the trip is about half an hour. It is not worth overpaying taxi drivers. A meter with a little rounding is a sacred thing. There is a public transport stop near the hotel (two bus numbers - E and S). Walking is relatively frequent, not crowded, travel at any distance costs 2.25 (quarters and papers should be brought with you). But the air-conditioners in buses are not well adjusted - cold jumping. In a couple or three hundred meters across the street - good cafes. A full lunch at the cafe will cost $10-12. The cafe is very even Russian-speaking - and contacts, and on meals. The staff of "Matryoshka" is good. There are shops nearby, including grocery stores. In the room - TV and refrigerator, hair dryer and boiling water. But all programs are in English and Spanish. Wi-Fi is very decent and free, but sometimes it flies.
There is something wonderful, though not critical. You have to check the lock on the loggia in your room. They were traditionally unlocked at the entrance for some reason. Now the elevators aren't working, whether it's maintenance or repair. For disabled people it's quite worrying, because the stairs are long and uncool. A couple of days in a paused cafe-bar almost under the windows (about 30 meters across) too late people too loud and songfully poured out their feelings. It would be better to give a command to the walkers at 23 o'clock "Stand down!" by turning off the music equipment. The air-conditioners are not adjustable and their blinds are not fully closed with the lever. And there is an extra-ordinary problem - the traffic light across Collins Ave in front of the hotel for pedestrians has been working for a number of years with failures - it does not start pedestrians. Drivers are usually normal and understand the situation, but fools get caught everywhere. The share of pedestrian drivers has increased in comparison with last year.

This place has a welcoming atmosphere, with a great location just a short walk from the beach and close to downtown, all at an affordable rate.

The location of the hotel is simply lovely. On the 1st shoreline in the best part of the city. I got the room myself on a special offer, so in my case the value for money was just great.
Get ready for a brutal service - room cleaning by a very unpleasant staff, takes a few hours: first in the morning a person comes to take all the towels, then, after a couple of hours - directly cleaning the room, and only hours at 4 bring new towels. That is, if you have not snatched at least 1, you will after the shower to dry themselves on the balcony. . In addition, in my stay in one of the rooms arranged an African disco, and despite the dissatisfaction of other guests, the hotel administration did not prevent this coven with drums and guggzels, which lasted for midnight.

It's a newly decorated and excellent place. The hotel staff is responsive and excellent. The rooms are quiet and comfy with bathroom and the balconies. The property has the best possible and convenient location, just next door to areas so much, a good fish restaurant in the pier and beach 10.

The pool is clean, and the rooms are spacious, new, and offer a view of a construction site.

We loved the "old school" feel about it, not many of these left. Beautiful pool and beach. Had lots of french Canadians their who support the Canadian owner and they had a big dinner every night which filled the place up. I was impressed, it has been around for a long time but has been kept up.

It was worth the cost benefit is not expensive, close to Aventura Mall, with pool and beach access.
I did not like that when we arrived the site had not passed Booked.net confirmation of our reservation so we had to stay in rooms of different requested and overlooking the roof attached
